Great weekend leading up to the holiday week. Visiting with family, snow, working, shopping, eating...all the best ways to spend a few days off!
Here in Boston we got about 7 inches of snow...it was beautiful! I woke up Sunday morning and watched Love Actually as I watched the flurries fly. I snapped this picture from our window as the snow piled up...
Later on in the afternoon we walked down Newbury to do a bit of shopping and saw the sky glowing pink and orange. This iPhone pic doesn't do it much justice, but I am trying to take pictures of pretty moments in my new city and this was one of them!
In the evening I headed to Target with my sister--she was shopping for two children in need and we had so much fun picking out toys, clothes and treats to make their holiday special. While I was there I stumbled on the Rodarte line for Target that Chloe had mentioned--I snapped a pic of this unique dress. I also bought the cami in this color--hopefully I will have the IRL pics of this soon!
How did you spend this weekend? Are you getting excited for the holidays?

We visited family in Western MA on Saturday and got caught in the storm on the way home. Husband and I finally pulled in at 2am. Harrowing drive down Rt. 495! We got about 20" on the Cape and I stayed in all Sunday and today many roads are still not plowed. :(
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are lovely, I love the one from your window!
Holy crap. That is a lot of snow! But it looks pretty. That picture from your window is very cool.
ReplyDeleteOh, how luscious! I adore the shot from your window, and Newbury Street brings back such memories. Did I tell you when you visited my shop that I grew up in the Boston area and went to college there? I still miss Beantown and visit as often as possible.
ReplyDeleteAnd I just backtracked to read the post you wrote of your visit with us. The photos are fabulous, and I appreciate your kind words. Do come see us again soon!
Merry Christmas!
Joan
What a chagge from SF, huh? But how nice not to have to travel too far to see family.
