Favorite Boutique: The Paris Market Savannah, GA

Are you starting to wonder where the heck I am? So sorry everyone...as I said these few weeks will be really crazy. I am finally on the New England (yay!) but I was here for 24 hours before I packed up again last Thursday and headed to South Carolina for a wedding. In all this craziness, I have been keeping my eye out for fun things to post about.

Thursday afternoon I spent in Savannah, GA waiting for Hubs flight to get in, wandering around and exploring. What a beautiful little city! Here's a glimpse at one of the parks in town...Beautiful trees dripping with Spanish Moss and sun through rain...

While walking through downtown on Broughton Street, I happened upon a store that really enchanted me, it was called The Paris Market, and their website is theparismarket.com.

The shop was everything Paris...a small cafe counter with espresso, apothecary, jewelry, antique signs. While I could only look quickly, I took a lot of pictures because I loved the way the shop seemed to be full and styled well.

Cafe with mirror back....macaroons, latte, etc...

Treats and Cookbooks...

Wrapping papers, letter coasters and antiques in a case...

Antique type from a printing press, buy by the letter or spell a word...

Lotion, potions, perfume in the apothecary area...

Light up PARIS letters, big dresser with mirror display...

Books with colored string strung above the table...

Curios, shells, driftwood

Look across the shop to the front window...

Jewelry laid out on a quilt...

Another view of the shop as a whole, chandeliers...

Another look at the cafe...

DOWN we go to the underground showroom...

Dimly lit and more rustic down here...

Garden items

French bike on the wall...

More stuff :)

Old buffet and bowls...

So pretty! I loved it.

I hope you all don't mind my posts about boutiques I stumble upon. I love to see what people buy and collect to put in their shop, especially when things are so styled and curated...beautiful!

What do you think? Please tell me what you have been up to recently! Next up, another clothing post!

  1. What a darling shop! The one time I visited Savannah I absolutely loved it (kinda makes me wish I'd gone to SCAD after all...) Mayhaps we'll have to make a detour to Savannah when we head down south for Thanksgiving. I just LOVE finding little out of the way places like this - thanks so much for sharing!

  2. Oh my goodness! Savannah! My hubby and I went there on our honeymoon. It was such an amazing time, and I remember going to the Paris Market! We spent a week exploring the city, finding cute little shops (well, I did anyway) and eating the most delicious food. Wow, that city has some wonderful food. If you ever go back, you need to find the Gryphon Tea Room. We ended up going there every day. Then, of course, Paula Deen's (from the Food Network) restaurant is there, Lady & Son's. I want to go back so bad! Thanks so much for sharing!
