Which makes me sound exactly like the babysitters club come to think of it, but I am mid twenties now and have five pairs of hunters and still maintain they make any outfit. Skirts and dresses and skinny jeans and tights and oh my! Also deliciously cute and preppy: duck boots. Dig the statement of big rubber boots ladies. Get yourself a cute macintosh and go with it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-144005264130883494.post-9310087952060627252009-03-04T20:08:00.000-08:002009-03-04T20:08:00.000-08:00The Baby sitters Club rocked. With rain or snow, I have no good suggestions. It's hard to look cute and stay dry. But today, even though it was cold, I made myself put on the Francie skirt, a cute cardi, and some boots and tights (like some of you suggested), and I did feel a lot better (and wasn't too cold either).starla729https://www.blogger.com/profile/10076793350143157982noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-144005264130883494.post-39685861711647359092009-03-04T09:44:00.000-08:002009-03-04T09:44:00.000-08:00Lizard,How about doing the boots with an otherwise...Lizard,

How about doing the boots with an otherwise cute outfit, and bringing a change of shoes to work? Cute and comfortable? Is the fit TTS? Is the coral too bright or a softer color? Sorry for the barrage of questions--any help you could provide would be very much appreciated.iheartgreenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03692399153026392892noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-144005264130883494.post-44112465071696779892009-03-03T20:42:00.000-08:002009-03-03T20:42:00.000-08:00As a resident of the Pacific Northwest, I have thi...As a resident of the Pacific Northwest, I have this problem a lot. I second HeidiG's suggestion of knee high boots with tights and a sweater dress (and I do work in an office, albeit at a university, so we're a bit less formal than some). I also have discovered wonderful waterproof microfiber, high heel, mid-calf boots that are the perfect solution for wearing with pants on a rainy day. They're not inexpensive, but they're worth every penny!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-144005264130883494.post-32206055814594878842009-03-03T19:46:00.000-08:002009-03-03T19:46:00.000-08:00Rain is hard. I would love it if someone has a great solution here.HeidiGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17335791412412897005noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-144005264130883494.post-75757836640726781362009-03-03T18:34:00.000-08:002009-03-03T18:34:00.000-08:00I try to dress cute for the rain.
